The DBSU2448 system uses:
- User Interfaces which are VBA assisted "Excel" Spreadsheets with built in tutorials to simplify input for low level users.
- Powerful text reading tools which convert the data for use by the more powerful DBSU2448 Program.
The system is not limited to the above approach as in some industries the process is a simpler process which does not require the Interface.
The system has the following primary functions:

Safety, HR and many other functions are covered through "Flash Reports"
Reports are automatically generated and made available on the site to individual users every 24 hours, based on their "Level of Access" authorized by your Head Office.
Reports
Reports are in two categories:
- Basic Tracking allows users to view equipment's whereabouts at any point in time.
- Basic Reports - These are basic Production Reports.
- Standard Reports - These are Forecasts and Costing Reports.
- High Level Reporting - Covers Financial Reporting.
- Flash Reports - Specially designed format to allow the transfer of 27 reports in a graphical format to each user per day along with full backup. The extent of the reports is really limited by one's imagination, and there are thousands to choose from.
Advantages with this system:
• Most people are familiar with a spreadsheet, Excel in particular, so training and “Go Live” is quick.
• For every element of data “manually entered” the system will update the DBSU2448 data base with more than 50 times that element of data. This means that limited resources can update the system daily with information not normally entered into current systems, allowing one to generate reports of all types. The data base has been designed to hold an incredible amount of fine detail.
• Error checks are automatically done within the spreadsheet prior to export.
• Individuality is maintained by the user, as the user can use the data on the spreadsheet to create other reports of their choice, create their own charts, and so on.
• With performance reporting being done every 24 hours, you can fine tune your profit margin and avoid surprises. DBSU can on request make reports available on the hour if required.
• Being a Web Based System as a preferred option, IT support costs are reduced.
Intelligence has been built into the system and includes:
- GPRS data entry - automated.
- Automated “time related” cost entry daily.
- The effect of program performance on “Forecasted End Cost”.
- Automated Purchase Orders and Tax Invoices.
- Automated Estimating based on actual unit costs incurred on other projects.
- All reports cater for “Past”, “Present” and “Future” long term performance.
- Accruals are automatically done every day.
- Automatic “Checks and Balances” built into all reporting.
- Being able to handle more than 20 tracking levels to cover reports of all types.
- The ability to track it's own daily forecasting accuracy as depicted in the "Forecast Summary" Chart. This Chart is a powerful tool and erratic changes reflect "Poor Management" in most instances, through late costs or revenue being entered into the system.
